There are a plethora of editors out there that can help you to design and build your own website. I’ve used a few of them myself, and can honestly say that you only get what you pay for. That being said, there are some good, free programs out there. Here are a few:

    PageBreeze

    CoffeeCup

    KompoZer

    BlueGriffon

However, if you don’t mind paying a monthly fee, Dreamweaver is my all-time favourite. It’s packed with features and has plenty of tutorials so it shouldn’t take too long to get to grips with the basics.

If you are stuck for a design, you can search for the thousands of free website templates to use. Simply extract the one you want to use to a folder and open up the index page in your favourite editor and change what you want. ? The index page is the front page of your site, and can be something like index.htm, index.html, index.php ect.

A lot of cPanel hosts have website builders as standard for their clients. We do, and it’s very easy to setup websites using them.
